I don't know if this has come up in this editions yet, but what happens when a fanatic hits a steamtank what happens.

in last edition the fanatic just died, but can't find anywhere this edition where it says anything about it.

In the absence of any particular rules for the case, you use the usual rules - the fanatic inflicts d6 hits and bounces over!

Off-the-cuff, looking up the rules for neither steam tanks nor fanatics, I expect that fanatics will now treat steam tanks just like any other unit: deal 1d6 S5 hits, and pop out the other side.

While you might have cause to expect otherwise, that cause is outdated. You resolve the fanatic's effect on the steam tank as you would any other unit.

The fanatics should just take control of the steam tank! Imagine a steam tank-fanatic!!!... no wonder nobody plays me =(

As long as you restrain your enthusiasm and don't insist on implementing every single "creative" idea that happens to cross your mind in the middle of a game (followed by a tantrum when told "no"), I'm sure you will find someone willing to play a second game with you.

Actually they FAQ'd this. Apparently if a fanatic hits a steam tank, all steam tanks in the world are destroyed.

The same thing happens with bloodthirsters, coincidentally.

Haha.

But they DID FAQ'd this in the chronicles of 2004.

When a fanatic hits a steam tank, the tank receives damage as normal, and the fanatic is removed from play. Splut.

For every game you play in 2004, sure.

In 2004 the steam tank had a different set of rules.
I'de treat it as how you would normally, the steam tank is just a big monster afterall.

The Fanatic does his hits and then goes through the tank like normal

So did the fanatic, too.

I think, you should stop discussion, cause the answer ist given many times: You resolve the fanatic's effect on the steam tank as you would any other unit.
