Do you think it would ever be worth to launch a campaign to reclaim Ryan's world (The Crimson fits' home world)?

Or is it not worth it considering they'd spend many years burning off ork spores?

It's Rynn's World not Ryan's World FYI.

Rules for the Rynn's World campaign were recently published in White Dwarf, starting with the Ork invasion of Badlanding and ending with an Apocalypse battle. You can probably find on GW's website.

Rynn's World has been abandoned by the majority of the Orks, because they plundered everything they could from it. All that remains are some young orkoids appearing from nowhere who simply fight against whatever human survivors remain there.

Rynn's World has already been reclaimed: the CF held out for long enough for reinforcements to arrive. They're now replenishing their numbers and rebuilding their chapter monastary.

This is correct. Badlanding is the world which remains in Ork hands. Rynn's World is devastated, but under the Crimson Fist's control.

BUt devastated worlds make the best training grounds, so not a total loss. :p

Its maybe worth mentioning that for some reason Forgeworld has a different take on Rynn's World than GW does, according to Imperial Armour II (not Imperial Armour volume II) New Rynn City fell within 2 weeks and 20 years later the planet is still a warzone.

How embarrassing. Good to see some fluff came out that I missed on. I thought Rynn's world was still lost. But any world conquered by the orks can never be truly liberated ;)

And Hungry. That probably had a bit to do with it too.

You're refering to the battle with the soul drinkers? The loss of all those crimson fists there were a further blow to the remaining rests of what was once a proud sucessor chapter to the Iron Fists.

As for Rynn's World itself, well, most Crimson Fists died because of the freak accident when the missile returned to the fortress.

Almost like if the Crimson Fists were cursed with terrible bad luck.
