Hello, I know I'm making Plogs out of nowhere these days but i need quite some help on this one.

I 've started to make a display scale Eldar Striking Scorpion from the FW Eldar Avatar, I'm nowhere near finished, all I've got so far is the base of the model done. I still need to fill in all the cracks with gs (some are done already) Sculpt the head, all I've done is the base for this, and also try and make a big power weapon and finish off the claw.

well tell me what you think of him so far (remember it's in it very early stages), and the black is a quick wash i gave it so i wouldn't miss the cracks).

I'm very curious to see where this is gonna go! Not that much to comment on besides that for the time being!

Thanks for the comments :)

as for the turnout well nothing is exactly planned, I'm following the design from Eldar Art work (mainly the cover art), not the models.

I haven't done very much from him from the last posts, just filled in more Cracks (which is driving me a little insane :p). I hope to be sculpting the feet soon, then redo the knee which i repositioned and glued and left as was. The last thing I'm doing is the head as it's the most difficult part.

i have kind of a small Update, most (if not all i hope) of the cracks are now filled in, all thats left for that is smoothing a bit but i might see if sanding down a little would be better.

I've redone the knees too and part of the chest, I've also given the basic layer of gs to the head.

Can't say much cause I can't fully conceptualize the full prject but so far good.

Just isn't the head supposed to be pinned back abit? Was just looking at my striking scorpion now. It's more like a Farseer helmet so maybe pull it back abit? Or you doing old school strike scorp?

Thanks, though the helmet is no where near finished, It's just the a layer i did so i could start sculpting the actual helm from there, I'm not sure what you mean by pulled back, but if you mean extending the top into a more wave-like shape then that was alredy planned :D...though i must say I'm really dreading doing the Scorpian Like legs which make the kind of "pony tail at the back of striking scorpion helms.

@verydarkshadow, thanks, was orignally going to be an Orion conversion but the antlers i hade were to big, so he's been wrapped up for a while noe till i decided to make this.
