Hello all! Does anyone have any information about the release of the new dread in the latest codex? If you can direct me to a site that has pictures that would be great too. Thanks

A model for the Ironclad dreadnought will not be out until second wave space marines come out, not sure when that will be.

Here is an early CAD of the design.

And also this is my take one it, the finished job is on page 2.

Hope this is helpful.

WOW man I love your version! Walk me thru all the options you utilized. Have you had success with this guy?

Thank you, he's the standard build (DCCW, flamer, seismic hammer and melta) with hunter killer missiles and assault launcher wargear. I can't get too specific as that may violate IP laws. And I haven't been able to play a game with it yet as I just finished it yesterday.

nice conversion, actually i don't see any IP issues with that, unless say you made that out of recast parts from an existing dread. greenstuff copies don't really count, since GW endorsed this on their own site.

Oops sorry, I was just talking about giving the OP any rule details.

It is a fun conversion if you don't want to wait until next year.
It is also a good first conversion project, if you have never done one.
It took me two days to put this together. I need to make mores arms.

What ever did you use for the armour?

What ever did you use for the armour?

I used .040 (1mm) and .020 (0.5mm) plasticard (poly styrene plastic) card for the armor.

I don't know if I should love, or hate you guys for being so good with the plasticard.;)
