Hello folks,

I am playing in an escalation campaign with my daemons at the moment and having a lot of fun. I field horrors as my core choices. I am just wondering, what size units do you field? The campaign is at 800pts right now so I am still using them in units of 10. We will end at 2000pts and I am thinking about unit sizes for that points level.

Personally, I think units of 10 will still be good. The flickering flames of tzeentch spell seems awesome. If I field them as units of 20, they are of course level 2 wizards but their second spell is a 9+ to cast...

So what unit sizes have you tried? How did they work out?

I've proxied a unit of 20 several times, and it's worked really well for me. Even if it's just for the extra power and dispel dice, you're basically paying 120 points for a naked Wizard with 10 wounds. Plus, you need to lose 15 models before you become (basically) useless, rather than just 5, which happens fairly easily.

I run two blocks of thirty and one of ten. Bolt of Change for the win.
