View Full Version : Dark Elf 2k army (for nice tourney)

I will use this 2k post for our friendly tournament over the weekend in Bergen.

Lord-cold one, +d3 A sword, potion of S, reverse ward save,cloak shld,hvy

He kills monsters with between 6-8 A reroll to hit at s7 for 1 turn (4 +d3 + Cauldron)

lvl2 dagger and immune to psych pearl

Generates on 1 dice, then blats away adding a dice as neccessary with the dagger. makes unit immune to psychology

lvl2 2 scrolls

Cauldon and Hag with BSB

Makes cav harder

6 cold one knights ASF banner and s/c/m

6/7 Harpies- war machine killers, can now use generals Ld.

12 x bows-sacrificial unit and fire support for keeping RBT alive.

10 Corsairs cos I have the models

5 Darkriders to support the Cold one cav.

1 RBT because 2 or more is cheesy

1 Hydra if i can get it glued together in time, blasted thing

1 assassin with KB,ehw,flying cloak, RoK

This ain't the greatest list but has some reasonably hard bits to it.

I may drop the hydra for scouts as they are already painted.

Any thoughts?

Dagger won't be that useful without warriors.
Never make an elven unit ItP, fleeing from charges is your friend. You don't really need the assasin, i would drop it to get the previously mentioned warriors.

Also your lord can get a lot more killing done just with crimson death.

2 units of 5 harpies would be better than the one you have atm.

Give those corsarairs handbows.

I wouldn't give your cold one knights the ASF banner. You should be charging with them, and afterwards their initiative should be enough. Maybe warbanner?
