This is my 2000pt mono slaneesh list.

I was suprised at the sheer numbers avalible in this list. Plenty of light cavalry
and spawns to guard the flanks.

A giant and Ogres to take out any big boys. (ASF yell and bawl wtf)

An exalted to chase skirmishers and march blockers (and with M10 he can catch them).

Sigvald one bad ass character.

And of course the Marauders providing a solid dependable bulk.

So what do you think?

IMO i like it, its good to see marauderey (WTF?) armies.

One thing i have to ask is: can a mounted guy take a halberd, might as well just take a great weapon.

O another thing is the hitting power it will have against defensive armies, like an empire. Ive seen pure marauder armires get pwned from empire as the cant strike with high-high strength.

over all i think its rather good, and if used well can win in alot of ways

Not sure about the halberd (haven't got the rulebook with me)

And with the high strength i'm hoping my flails will pay off.
str 5 on the first turn of combat should hopefully be enough to
open those tin cans.

Cant always rely on MHM, as they can get easliy be taken out by a magic missle or a couple of shots

slaanesh is a good cheap mark and it pays off in numbers and the effectiveness

have you played with it yet, because playing with the list is different than writing it:skull:

No i sadly haven't played with this list :(

I don't think i could possibley make that many marauders
(especially when i don't like the foot models)

My main WOC list is an all cavalry Khorne/ Tzeentch army.

I reckon this slaneesh list looks really strong, and i would like someone
to go out and give it a go, then report back on it.

Halberd is better on mounted model, as it gives same strength bonus as a great weapon and keeps initiative speed. For informative purposes...

Great Weapons are better then Flails IMO on marauders
Chaos Ogres are best w/ Great Weapons too
Lose the Exalted Hero for a Sorcerer, it will grant you the needed Dispel Dice for a game of this size.

I'd probably swap Sigvald for a dispel scroll-laden wizard, a battle standard bearer and some hounds, since your list is about numbers. Besides, he's kinda risky with stupidity.

On the great weapon/halberd issue, why not toss the mounted champion a flail instead? He'll be a bit weaker on secondary rounds, but he'll be able to chop chariots apart.
