God knows I don't have time for this.

And since he knows, I'll probably earn a few years in purgatory.

Might as well make it fun, huh?

I recently got a few boxes of orks from my missus. She claims they're cute. I haven't had the time to book her up for a shrink yet, so that's probably another 6 months in a sea of boiling fat, but why should I care now? Anyway, since I can't seem to put a model together without dismembering it, I've set up a Doc/Mec clinic for those who are brave (or stupid) enough. Here's the first victim.

 That is one of the coolest orks I have ever seen!! Simply amazing!

What did you use to sculpt? Procreate? (i'm guessing that due to the color...)

06-12-2008, 19:47
That is awesome. I am just astounded. So orky, so detailed, so beautiful.
how did you get in to create those tiny details? Like the veins on the musculature!?!

06-12-2008, 19:58

God's just given you a free ticket to Heaven if you ask me...Brilliant ork honestly
Cant wait to see it painted :P

06-12-2008, 20:06
Wow, I must say, that's quite an impressive ork! He's got a lot of character. I hope your painting is as good! :)

Keep at it!

Nice, very nice...

15-02-2009, 14:31
HOLY ****!!!!!

This, with even more expletives.
I am astounded at the quality of these figures

15-02-2009, 18:56
You have a really nice talent for getting the posing just right on these figures which prob sounds daft when its ork physiology were talking but these really are excellent.

Makes me wish for some orks to chop up.

As you can see he tends to the wounded ALL THE TIME. Even when they're evidently more than wounded.

16-02-2009, 09:29
Love the way the Doc is shaping up Igor, I would personally prefer a big 'urty s'ringe in his hand instead of the Ork head, where are you going to take him from here? perhaps a nice long white coat or a doctors facemask? whatever you do I'm sure it will be fantastic.

Looking forward to seeing more.

I've already ditched the head in favor of a Proddin Syringe for stabbin da Boyz with an Orky equivalent of adrenaline shots. At first I intend to do a "look me in the eyes" pose for him as he examines the freshly acquired spare part (sort for Frankensteins Igor looking for new components) while scratching his head but it didn't seem to "go with he flow". Maybe I'll try it later on...

16-02-2009, 10:27
Wow, just wow. Loving all your work. Makes me want to start collecting orks :cries:

22-02-2009, 21:48
Disturbingly well done.
Much better than the metal one GW sales.

23-02-2009, 01:22
the ork in the blog's beginning that is all mech-d out and is smoking a cigar is classic.

How did you do the great chunky looking bionic hands?

Omg! You should cast these! Because I would buy them in a heartbeat!

I had been searching Warseer for a log of these guys after randomly finding them on Dakkadakka. Made the mistake of looking in SciFi Project Logs though.

Great stuff, especially the boss ork. He's one mean brute.

It's Dark Tech but if you don't care for your soul.

Mix some GS (use more hardener to get a harder compound). Roll it out as even as you can to a width of about 1,5 mm. Let it dry, then slice up separate finger pieces. Stick together with superglue. apply small amounts of GS to the knuckles to make em round and nice. You could do it with plastic rods but GS sticks to Gs better than it does to plastic.

Okay, so since I don't have a picture update I'll at least post my plans:

Mek - visualized and in the works
Madboy - visualized in both states of mind
Nob redo, Shoota Boy redo - since Hastigs jumped on them like a woozle.
Biker Nob/Warboss - visualized and technically in the works
Dark Eldar Corsairs, Wytches, Archon, Incubi and Talos - visualized

That's a lot for someone who doesn't have time to look for a new pair of winter shoes.
