Ok, so this came up recently... "all units within X take X" now say you've got a loan character, some spearmen, a chariot and a dragon all within X.. who is hit?

all? all but character? just spearmen?

Same with Screamers flying over "units" does this include loan characters?

cheers

All, including lone character.

A lone character is still a 'unit'.

Brilliant... lone characters are quite vulnerable then :D (sorry, very new to fantasy)

if the lone character with/without mount (US less than 5) is inside the spearmen unit (that has 5 or more spearmen) then he cant be targetted

page 74 BRB

if its a template magic/shooting then the character get "look out sir" with the above conditions

pg 75 , 110 BRB

I'm not sure what you meant for the 1st question (within x take x) character on dragon inside spearmen/ character inside spearmen?

but for the screamers slashing attack which count as missile attack (shooting) so the above conditions apply if determining weather the lone character inside the unit is hit.

Yes, yes they are.

By the same token they are vulnerable in Units as well since the unit can be panicked about them and they must flee with it and might not be able to rally if the unit is now less than 25% of it's starting size. They are just less vulnerable inside units.

If he's in a unit he isn't a lone character, orkz222.

hehe should have been more clear i guess... But yea, what i mean by within x takes x could also have been clearer... i should have used x and y...

bascially meant "all units within 24" take 2D6 hits" where 24" is X and 2D6 hits is Y...
