View Full Version : 1500 pts - All Cav Chaos, no magic

Since painting up tons of marauders for my "big bad blocks of expendables"-army still takes a while, I figured I could experiment with a cavalry list, at only 46 models, I could paint this much quicker and actually get to game...

CHAMPIONS

Exalted hero / general

Basic idea is to have the knights and chariot go straight for the enemy, shielded by the hounds, and have exalted + horsemen go for flanks, warmachine crew and what not, the general is there to challenge enemy champions / hard stuff.

Should I drop one exalted and get more hounds / horsemen? I don't think magic will play such a big part (I am up against Orks most of the time), so I skip it entirely, do you think that is a good idea?

Any ideas wether or not this will be "fast enough" to outmaneuver gunlines / archers. I know my gaming mate fields a few archers every now and then, and they can be quite nasty especially on open terrain.

As much as I like the chariot, it maybe not as useful - more horsemen / hounds better?
