Hi there from Germany,

After seeing some real good and inspiring stuff in this forum I wanted to show you my ork army. At the moment I have 52 painted orks. Showing you all of them would blow this thread, so I will show you what I think are my best.

I start with my current project: kommandos

Right now I have 5 of them. All are converted boyz. The helmets with the night goggles are made of PC. I still have the GW-kommandos, but they are'nt painted yet.

Here you can see (Can you??? ;) ) three of them in action:

Nice orks, I really like the converted kommandos.

What's your recipe for the skin?

Very good indeed. A nice colour scheme, with an inspiring skin tone.

@all: Thx for replies.
@DarkMark: The eyes are painted. I think it is due to the perspective that you can't see it.

For all of you who are interested in how I painted the skin:

1. Prime black
2. Goblin Green (complete skin)
3. Devlan Mud
Now the skin should look like the one of the ork left in the picture.
4. Paint again with Gobline Green but only the upper parts.
(ork in the middle)
5. Last finishing steps with a 1:1-mix goblin green and Bleached Bone
(ork to the right)

That's all.

And here are my favorite shoota-boyz. I have to apologize for the skin. I painted them before GW published the devilish Devlan Mud.

Pt. I

very tasty models. that ghazkul is better than the GW version. great pics also, and that quick tut is indespensable also.

great work

the amount of ork armies popping up must be testament to the popularity of the current ork range. loving it!

I really like your Orks, especially all the eye pieces on the kommandos. I might have to do some of those myself.

Very nice looking skin aswell.

I don't know what happened, but I replied yesterday and it wasn't posted....

So I try it again.

Thx again for replies. Because I like painting the lenses I made a tutorial. Although it's in German you will get it.
