hello all, this is my first attempt at a wood elf army and was wondering what everyone thought?

I'd personally lose a unit of Glade Guard, but I don't like too much shooting in my army, so.

apart from that, do you know that Alter characters can't be your General? so in this case, your general would be one of your Spellsingers.

If you want an Alter Highborn, I suggest giving him Bow of Loren in combination with either Arcane Bodkins or Starfire Arrows (depending on which army you face) and Stone of the Crystal Mere, with and Enchanted Shield.

again, depending on the army you're facing, you might be more interested in taking a great weapon.

pretty standard wood elf list although they dont vary too much!

warhawk riders are well worth their points and i would suggest taking a treeman as there isnt anything hard hitting

but what would you look at dropping/ changing to be able to make the changes??

make the alter highborn a noble, and make one of the lvl2 a lvl 4, you are paying alot of pts for some minor stat boosts :/, also give them both great weapons, str 4 attacks are ok but wont cut it vs anything non rank and file.

Man, i would put one or even 2 treeman in your army. Itīs very hard to defeat unless the oponent had a cannon, and one threeman can defeat alone a intire troop.

And.. There is a fairy that makes your char only be hit on a chalenge if the oponent roll a 6. Very good to use, try it

Try and find some points to bump both war dancers to 7 each. Reasoning is vs infantry 5 wide the max you can get into combat is 7.
