Hello all!

My friend sent me a link today that showed me a prop that was just to cool, so i explored the website a bit. The prop is really cool, and the site had some rough plans, has anyone seen this, or i hope built this?
This is what i hope to accomplish:

This is where i found more images and some plans:

It seems simple enough!

(mods, this may belong in MP&T, feel free to move)

I once made a quite crude lasgun for a 40K larp. Mainly it was a block of 2-by-4 with bits. But at least it worked. I fitted a flashlight into the muzzle and ran the cabling into the trigger.

Too bad I seem to have misplaced it. Which is odd, as how does one lose a big block of wood like that?

To be honest, that link above is a fairly rough piece of work.
Just because Imperial weapons are big and blocky, you don't have to exaggerate this as much as above.

A cheap LED torch, a laser pointer, and some construction bits is all you need. Look up some picture of modern assualt rifles, and use these as well as the lasgun ones....

Isn't that quite similar in function to the actual lasguns in 40k?

did i hear someone say frag out?
frags (http://urbandecayonline.com/costume/IGoutfit/frag.JPG)

ive suggested to the maker (matsuo), that the next version of these should be hollow inside, as flasks, with spring loaded 'spoons' (the grenade lever thingy) concealing the drinking part

I would base it on an M16 or an assualt rifle like that.

Things like this make me wonder why GW havent made anything like this in the past. They made archaons sword after all.

A bolter wouldnt be unwelcome either.

theyve made "some" weapons, ive seen pics of various close combat weapons, and some ork shoots/sluggas, but from what i gather these are one-offs used as prizes in tournys or some such
