Hey guys, so I'm trying to perfect my Dark Elf army before I continue my Lizzies in Feb (WOOO). Here's what I've come up with so far:

Master - Pendant,Blood armour, SDC, great weapon
Sorceress - 2 scrolls
Death Hag - CoB, BSB
Assassin - AHW, Touch of Death, Rune of Khaine

10 Crossbowmen - Shields
5 Harpies
5 Dark Riders - Mus
5 Dark Riders - Mus

5 Shades - great weapon
5 Cold One Knights - FC, Standard of Slaughter, Ring of Hotek
14 Black Guard - FC, Banner of Hag Graef, Crimson Death

2 Reaper bolt Throwers
1 Hydra

TOTAL: 2000 points

It's a pretty small army with only one block, but it looks fun and interesting.

Heh, yea it did used to have a unit of 20 warriors instead of the CoB but they always just died the first time they were charged.

Played with it yesterday, and I think I might ditch the assassin for maybe upgrading the Master to a dreadlord with executioners axe, then bung RxBs on both dark rider units. Giving an army like this:

Dreadlord - Executioners axe, blood armour, SDC
Sorceress - 2 scrolls
Death Hag - CoB, BSB

10 Crossbowmen
5 Harpies
5 Dark Riders - Mus, RxB
5 Dark Riders - Mus, RxB

6 Shades - great weapons
5 Cold One Knights - FC, Standard of Slaughter, Ring of Hotek
14 Black Guard - FC, Banner of Hag Graef, Crimson Death

2 Reaper bolt Throwers
1 Hydra

TOTAL: 2000 points

What ya think?

side note: Oh I played one of the most dull games ever yesterday, used the first list against Tzeentch daemons with Kairos, blue scripes and 2 heralds on discs and 12 flamers... only change i had was ring of hotek... fled off the table in 2nd turn cos of a destroyed unit of dark riders and then failing to rally. Of course after that I couldn't stop the flying magic machines. How boring!

Ex axe is nice, but leaves your Dreadlord far too vulnerable, I like the previous set up.

I'd drop the COKs for a big block of spearmen. They aren't that killy, but the SCR and low cost is their big appeal. 12 Corsairs with the SSS benefit hugely from the Cauldron, considering running a unit of them.

Hydras are always good.

Ok, how about:

Dreadlord - Pendant, armour of darkness, soul render (magic great weapon)
Sorceress - 2 scrolls
Death Hag - CoB, BSB

12 Corsairs - fc, SSS
5 Harpies
5 Dark Riders - Mus
5 Dark Riders - Mus

5 Shades - great weapons
5 Cold One Knights - FC, Standard of Slaughter, Ring of Hotek
15 Black Guard - FC, Banner of Hag Graef, Crimson Death

2 Reaper bolt Throwers
1 Hydra

TOTAL: 1999 points

I'd rahter not drop the CoKs, they're my hotek guards and some nifty shock troops. Though I could drop the slaughter standard for 2 more BG and a harpy or RxBs for the dark riders...
