I just thought up this list because of another knight list. Total laughs.

Archaon

20 hounds
20 hounds
20 hounds
20 hounds
20 hounds
11 hounds
5 Marauder Horsemen, Flails
5 Marauder Horsemen, Flails
5 Marauder Horsemen, Flails

5 Knights, MoK

9 Knights, MoN, Banner, Banner of Rage

Archaon goes in Knights, provides LD 10 within 18", and BSB within 12".

Everything moves 7/14", and hounds have unit strength 40 for being on cav bases. US 40, CR 3, and will provide at least 20 inches of cover across for the knights to hide behind. They reroll panic on LD 10, and will most likely be able to charge any fear or terror causer because of Arch.

Once they get into combat, die off, whatever, Archaon and the knights o nastiness can get in and either get flank charges, counter charges, or just mop up.

Optionally, you can break these down into 22 units of 5 dogs and just use them as the ultimate tarpit.

The Marauder horsemen are just there to take care of scouts and skirmishers who try and fuddle up your knights.



I think this list would be a blast to play and play against. Thoughts?

Edit: More hounds, less Knights.

How many points is this 2000? hounds dont count towards min core so you need some more marauder horsemen

Whoops. Let me edit that.

111 hounds, 15 marauder horsemen, 14 knights, 1 Archaon. Simple. :-)

This list looks hilarious and fun! I would laugh hysterically if an elite regiment fell to all the ranks and outnumbering bonuses of a unit of hounds.
