For VC I love the concept of the ghoul but hate the new models. Does anyone know if there are other ghoul figures out there?

Thanks

There are metal ghouls available from the games-workshop website.

They have a kind of 'Rage zombie' look, instead of the 'mutant zombie' look of the current ghouls. Think I am Legend.

Check out the Ghouls from Heresy (http://www.heresyminiatures.com/undead.htm).

Or you could kit-bash them. I always thought of ghouls more as desperate/degenerate (both morally and physically) humans: still distinctly Homo sapiens. Evidently, GW disagrees.

Anyway, I took the clanrat; brettonian archers and men-at-arms, zombie and free company sprues and combined them. The zombies and free company fighters contribute legs, torsos and arms, the clanrats (occasionally) contribute hunched torsos, and the archers/men-at-arms contribute their hideous (toothless) visages. When painted with an appropriately muted and grim set of colors they have the general air of Victorian grave-diggers/scum/murderers.

Hope that helps.

Wow I like the figures from Heresy.

Thanks

Any other ideas?

I am sure I am not the only VC player who based their army idea on being a "raised" version of another existing Warhammer army... I went Chaos themed and combined zombie and Marauder pieces. With a dark paintjob they play the part pretty well.
