is the hairy head sprue or mordheim equip sprue in the box?
and how many men do you get?

The hairy head sprue is apart of the Empire Knights box I believe.

The Militia box contains 20 blokes.

The newer boxes have 20. At least, that's what I got in my last box.

The militia box has always contained 20 models, as far as I know. According to some rumours, it might get discontinued later this year.

And you only get the basic Mordheim mercenary sprue (5 sprues, 4 models each), none of the extras. As said, the hairy head sprue has previously been packed with the Empire knights so you might manage to nick a few from local Empire players. The Mordheim accessory sprue might be more difficult to get - at one point it was available on mail order, but that might no longer be the case.

For some added variety, you could pick one of the new Empire state trooper or Flagellant kits. The later would probably be pretty handy for making zealots and flagellants for a witch-hunter warband.

Edit: oh, and the Mordheim skaven are also available as a box of 20 in the Skaven range these days.

The hairy heads were part of the Mordheim set, but as others have noted they were not included when the Morheim human mercenary sprues became Empire militia. The hairy head sprues also had hammer arms. (It was intended to make Middenhemer warbands, of course). Griefbringer's suggestion is a good one - check with local Empire players for trades.

The Mordheim Equipment sprue can still be purchased from GW, for $8.00 In case the link doesn't work, look under SPecialist Games then Mordheim then bitz.
