View Full Version : concerning warmachine los

I had just searched the forums and the rulebook and couldn't get any insight as to how machines determine line of sight. So far, i'm thinking that that crews do not count as skirmishers and do not have 360 sight, but the statement about pivoting the cannon in the shooting phase confused me. Do I use the line of sight of the cannon or the crew? Does it use a 90 degree arc instead? Can a unit preparing a charge from the side or rear get through a shooting phase untouched?

They have 360 LoS just point em where zou want them to fire and shoot. This is covered in the warmachine section on page 83

The Warmachine itself must have a clear line of sight to its target, even if the crew can see a target, the machine cannot fire if the machine has no straigth line to that enemy unit.

Thats to prevent abusive placing of the crew and silly shots (on model to the side looking around a block of infantry). Without this rule charging warmachines would be nightmare.

They have 360 degree LOS
