In the Chaos Space Marine codex, under the Daemon Prince section there is a section about the first prince, Doombreed. Is this a playable character or just lore? If he is playable, does anyone know his stats?

If he's not in the codex he's not a playable character with stats. You could always use current DP stats and use the model as Doombreed? :eyebrows:

I don't think that Doombreed has ever had stats. If he ever did it was only back in yonder misty past *waves vaguely in direction of Realms of Chaos*

He had stats in the 2:ed Chaos codex. Was kinda like a slightly angrier Bloodthirster if I remember correctly? :)

Ah, just the mildly foggy past then...

Pretty close. His stats were almost on par with a Bloodthirster but a Bloodthirster was still stronger than him. But he was still crazily strong

Doombreed was a hundred points more expensive than a BT. He was a point stronger and tougher, but a couple less wounds and attacks. He had a number of Khorne gifts allowing him to reroll failed armour saves (Praise of Khorne) and was impervious to force weapons and psychic attacks (Collar of Khorne).

Also had this nifty Rod of Khorne that causes any psysker in base-to-base contact to take D3 wounds every turn with no saves of any kind.

What about Faoulspawn, Daemon Prince of Nurgle with his 18 WOUNDS

Wow, lol, that's pretty crazy.

And Foulspawn regained a wound with each model he ate lol.

But lost an amount of wounds when rolling a double to move (ie double 4: 4 wounds). Foulspawn was fun.

Doombreed also had a chip in the "Warmaster" board game from white dwarf. It was a counter-and-map board game that reenacted the assault on Horus' battlebarge at the end of the Heresy. His counter was pretty strong.

If you want the rules for the game, it used to be on GW spain's website. use way back machine to dig up archives of it.
