Your Heresy has been noted and an Inquisitor dispatch to investigate your home world for possible corruption.

I like it myself, I think the broader profile gives it an unique look.

Hmz... doesn't match the artwork really, but, well, I can only applaud the dedication it takes to build one. Now go paint it!

Who cares if it is a bit squat or doesn't match the artwork exactly? That is a dead sexy scratchbuild!

it looks like it is getting ready to sprint a 100 metre race.
but that still looks awsome
that stompa is dead meat (or should it be scrap metal?)

I'm liking it, one of the better home made warlords :)

what colour is it being painted when finished?

Ahhh the Emperor shall be pleased, The Mechanicum has a new assignment for you, The Emperor Class Titan (gotta love that data sheet)

It was already scrap metal. What's your point?

Must... loot!

Am i the only one who is laughing at the thought of how much FW would charge for that?

Something like 2,000 by their obscene pricing strategy.

It isn't like the official one, but it's one very pretty model nonetheless. :chrome:

Is the Warlord class titan the 2nd largest titan the Imperium has? (With the Emperor class being the largest)

Cool scratchbuilt, btw.

Props man, good stuff.

I'm just picturing it cocking its foot back to boot that stompa into next week :p

On Titans: I've never really been a fan of GW's Titan design, which seems to be "just make things bigger."

I picture an Imperium's Titan to look similar to the Alexander esper from FF: a giant body bristling with smaller guns (of roughly the same scale of whats on tanks, maybe slightly larger) and then one or two main guns (which would be about the size as the weapons they currently sport).

I've always thought the titan design was fairly boring. Not that simplicity is always a bad thing, but in this particular case I think they should design something a bit mroe exciting.

Speaking of design, am I the only one who misses the old "beetleback" MKI Warlord or MKII? I hate the MKIII, it's so ... non-gothic lol. Looks like it stomped it's way out of Battletech.

Where's the studs, rivets, edging on the armor plates and all the other superfluous Imperial bling?

SockMonkey, I'm not ragging on your Titan, which is made of Win and Awesome :D

Legs could be a bit longer to my personal taste, but well done indeed.

I'd love to see the fully painted finish.

I was just digging through my old epic stuff the other night, and came across three MkI Warlord beetlebacks still on the sprue. Yeah, I miss those guys. Of course, my 40k Titan project will look closer to a MkIII (curves are tough, edges are easier).

Still needs some more detail, I am thinking of getting some FW brass Aquilla's for it. I have to say I wish I could take credit for the build but I know I dont have the talent for it so I paid some one to do it for me! It is getting a couple more weapon systems, and I was thinking of getting the titan crew for the cockpit which does need some more work.
