There are two direct order models that comes with dual lightning claws. Captain Shrike and a Veteran.

The best you can go with is converting these (http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/productDetail.jsp?catId=cat1080005&prodId=prod1400026&rootCatGameStyle=wh40k) on your serge (just clip the lighting claw off the arm)

You can get a bitz pack of 5 pairs of Terminator Lightningclaws that you can convert to use for non-terminators and I think they look pretty much like the ones the veteran uses so it should work fine. Else you are pretty much stuck with converting the models I listed.

Sweet thanks I thought it would be hugely oversize?

If you check the Veteran so are his Lightning claws pretty large as well, so I think they are the same size.

I have both of these sets and the termi ones are bigger, plus the 'socket' is too big for a standard PA Shoulder Pad so you'd need to whittle it down to fit.

I was lucky that GW still had their full Bitz service running when I needed all of mine.

GL with finding them though:)

Ebay bitz auctions, should run about $15 shipping inc (in US) for a set of 5 plastic termi lightning claws. Remove the shoulder or cut it down and you are good to go.

Terminator Lightning Claws work for normal marines. Just need a bit of green stuff, and I recommend pinning them.

Ah, but now you are talking about the arms, not the actualy claws/hands. You can cut off the lightning claws and clue them on normal marine arms. Or if you are lazy do as you say and file or saw away enuff that you can put on a normal shoulder pad.

Have you checked out places that sell bits (like the Warstore, ApocaBitzNow, etc.)?

I'm not familiar with a lot of SM kits (yet), but I know there's at least one lightning claw in the commander set, and if you're going to convert tesmie LC, the plastic ones would probably be easier.

I used the plastic Assault Terminator claws for my Vanguard. I can't recommend using Shrike as one of his claws is attached to the body and would be murder to extract. The vet claws do fit nicely as well.

...OR...

You could attach a pair of blades made from plasticard to the back of a standard Power Arour gauntlet.

The current huge-fist-with-massive-claws Lightning Claws are still a hang over from when they worked as a Power Fist which could parry.

Is my counts as Shrike.

The trick to not making them look as huge is to chop it off at the Terminator's elbow and not at the edge of the wrist.

The Current plastic Terminator LC are slightly too Large, but GW does the older Metal ones, which althougha re still slightly oversized, are a better fit, i used these ones before the Palstic LC's were released, so know they fit well.
