Im just wondering what people thought of the comparisons between the ogre sized creatures. Im going to ignore all the fancy ogres and just include the standard ogre for this test. Also going to try ignore tabletop stats and base this on fluff since theyre all rounded values balanced for playing

An ogre, tougher than an undead construct that feels no pain, doesn't need to sleep and you essentially HAVE to cripple to stop it advancing on you? Also, rating it the second weakest strength-wise? It never tires, it never runs out of steam, it's first swinging blow has the same force behind it as the last blow.

Somewhere down the line, you really hated on Ushabti eh?

Id move ushabti right up the list to second place.

They can be regenerated ;)

Also how are trolls (S5) less hard then Minotaurs, kroxiggor etd (S4)

Surely the Dragon Ogres are the fastest of the lot mention as they are the only unit with M7, which is importantin that it allows a 3d6 pursue/flee movement.

Plus, Minotaurs have special rules that make them somewhat less mobile.

Trolls are supposed to be enormous, in fact. Just think of that drawing where empiresmen hunt some river trolls in a swamp 'one being burnt down, the other one vomiting happily on the poor guys). Trolls are really up there for sheer mass/size/strenght, more so than ogres. But I'm not sure wether they're more idiotic than rat ogres or not, to be honest :p
They used to have the benefit of using weapons (models, I mean, not as options), but the new rat ogres have these too, even shooting weapons, so... You got to have at least some neurons to use a ranged weapon. That or packmasters are using wireless controls to "pilot" them :p

wha? no yhetee? surely they'd be the fastest with a move of seven and the ability to move through terrain? not to mention a decent 4 initiative :)

Lol. lots of questionable feedback, which is cool as long as its constructive.

Trolls - Every other of these creatures are described as just as big. Also their body shapes arent exactly athletic, they all have pot bellies and relatively thin arms compared to say a minotaur, ogre, rat ogre.
Ushabti - These guys are depicted as very thin compared to the likes of these other creatures. An ogre is about 5 times thicker!
Dragon Ogre - Dragons actually get slower the more powerful they get. I thought this would rub off on a dragon ogre?

Dragon Ogres aren't related to dragons.

Fiends of Slaanesh are the fastest by a country mile.

Rat ogres are the worst for all characteristics, they really are appauling. Havent seen them win one round of combat under the current rules against anything and I've played alot of different skaven armies
