conversions to models (long coats, stetsons jackboots etc)Look at places like Pegaso Models, Andrea Miniatures etc - there are loads of Wild West type miniatures that can easily be converted to fit the 41st millenium. If you look on The Conclave, there was a topic a couple of months ago (called simply '54mm' IIRC) that listed loads of manufacturers of 54mm models

weapons rules (lock and load rifles, 6 shooters, tommahawks etc)I'd have thought you could just use the weapons in the rulebook with only minor tweaks.

Not sure of your geographical, but if you are in the States, you can try this for inspiration: http://www.coloradominiatures.com/index.asp

Just type "54mm" in the search, there are 97 pages of models and bits and terrain from everywhere like Roman to Napoleonic to Western to Barbarian and more. There is no short way as different manufacturers name and catagorize their products differently. It really is worth the look see if for nothing else than the inspiration.

That Colerado Minis page is very helpful, even just for the fact that it showcases a lot of different manufacturers figs.

It still tells you what manufacturer the models are from, so if you think of the site as a picture gallery showing you a variety of manufacturer's models, it's good. A lot of those companies would be closer to home, too.

Nasha,
The models are out there. Just have to see if they are locally available or have to be ordered from a source that is more convenient. As mentioned, the manufacturer is usually listed in the description. Pegaso, Andrea, ANT, Art Girona and so on. Good Luck.
