I play Imperial Guard, and right now my army list makes use of a Baneblade, 3 Leman Russ tanks, and 1 Chimera in addition to 3 sentinals and around 100 infantry.

I'm looking for the best case possible to carry this stuff around in. Since I'm going to have everything from guardsmen to a superheavy tank, adaptability is pretty important. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Cost isn't a factor here, I'm just looking for the best case around. :D

Thanks in advance.;)

Maybe take a look at KR Multicase (http://www.krmulticase.eu/maineu.html). They do a double sized aluminium case that holds a fair bit. You can specify exactly what trays you want with it too.

Big army case + a shoe box for the tanks. Except the baneblade. Maybe its own shoe box?

Sabol cases are amazing, but once you 'set it' its set
I own 4 regular, + 1 Division (for my EC 3000pts)

I would recommend THE MIGHT BATTLEHIVE 2! I fit 150 infantry, 11 sentinels, 16 russes and my super russ(about macharius sized.). with ease. Im currently putting together some custom trays via battlefoam to carry more models.

www.figuresincomfort.co.uk

I can get most of my 4,000pts or so of Tau in one of the cases. And they're cross compatible with GW foam.

Another vote for Figures In Comfort here, I'm picking up a midi-case on Sunday (Triples in Sheffield) and it'll carry 8 foam trays. I'm getting 2 tank foam trays with it for my Chimeras/Russes/Trukks plus 2 Tray26 for meganob sized models, haven't decided on the other 2 trays yet.

Best on the market is Sabol and it is much less expensive then the more expensive, lower quality ones such as battlefoam.
If you get the division or moter pool, you can get double wide trays that the baneblade will fit in.

Darkhorse - I've got an old style Midi (about 3-4 years old now). Still going strong. The redesign of the trays with the high density foam base is a great improvement too. Are you going for any of the double height trays?

I suggest www.battlefoam.com

Going to have to echo the reccomendation for Battlefoam here. Stuff is AWESOME.

And you want adaptability? How about custom cut foam trays, individualized to your specific needs? Yeah, you can't beat that.

Don't have a PACK system yet, but it looks promising, and the foam is, I'll say it again, AWESOME.

Thanks so much for the battlefoam site, I so have to buy the IG 432 custom layout. I'll maybe buy another custom 432 for the rest of my tanks and valks.

Apart from the tank trays, no. I'm considering cavalry trays for the remaining 2 slots.

If you're buying at a show take a few of your models with you and test fit. I've got one designed for 20mm tanks that fits Crisis suits very well.

The Battlefoam cases released this weekend along with the trays for those cases look perfect for a large IG army. I plan on going that route for my IG in progress.
