It doesn't address this is in the rulebook that I've found. How many companies support the fighting unit. For example...

AAAA
AAAA
BBBB
BBBB
CCCC
CCCC

If you have company A in a formation do you recieve bonus for company B and C or just B since it is the only one in contact with A.

You found a rulebook? And i had to spend 50 bucks!!:D

No, sorry, srsly the answer to your question lies in the fist sentence on page 48 where it says that all companies that are in a formation, wich is in close combat, but are not in b2b with the enemy do indeed give you supporting attacks.
So in your example, B and C would both confer supporting attacks.:)

First paragraph on page 48:

Companies that are not in base contact with the enemy (but whose formation is engaged in a fight)...provide supporting attacks

Here's an extreme example:

xxxx
xxxx
111122223333
111122223333
444455556666
444455556666
777788889999
777788889999

A 9-company formation is combat with a single enemy company. Companies 1 and 2 touch the enemy, and get 8 attacks each. Companies 3-9 each provide 1 attack, for a total of 23 attacks (exclusive of other bonuses/penalties).

Which is what makes the mob rule sweet on 9-company goblins! (30 attacks in above scenario).
