Hi i'm klstrider28. You might remember me from such logs as:
"klstrider28 makes a name for himself. Fantasy and 40k"
"Man vs. Nature: the Road to Victory"
and "The Greatest Story Ever Hulaed"

Now i'm here to split up my former dual log (the former non-joke one) into 2 seperate logs.

I'm hoping this will get more exposure or at least some more comments (no disrespect to those who supported my log back in general).

Now to the painting.
I'll show you guys my "portfolio" of previous works.

First up are some Black Reach guys.

That is correct. Fatigues meaning clothing worn under armor. Im starting up tau now, and have almost finished the first squad of fire warriors. I've been rather disappointed at how the cloth bits are turning out. Did you basecoat and wash then highlight? Basecoat and drybrush? Howd you do it?

awsomes! nice crisp paint jobs all round. not often you see blood on a weapon look good, but you pulled it off.

basecoat was scorched brown followed by dark flesh with progressive tallarn flesh thrown into the mix. When it looks bright enough, wash with devlan mud. When it dries, highlight if necessary.

Nice stuff as always mate. I like the continuous level of quality you have no matter what the race you are painting is.

Cheers,

Personally, I like the red Tau, but then I was always a fan of the Farsight enclave army.

The white scheme on the City fight book looks brilliant, and pretty much anything is better than the official desert scheme in my opinion.

Where does the slaaneshi shoulder pad come from on your sorcerer?

Where does the slaaneshi shoulder pad come from on your sorcerer?

it comes with the CSM 10 man squad box as a new "command-esque" sprue. same with the head...

only joking...
