dont suppose you could tell me who each one of the first three mournival are? Be intresting to see your take on each of the characters (my favourite is Torgaddon lol).

Your Mournval look excellent, but the little details on all your marines are what makes it superb...

Thanks for the comments! It is a real challenge to build a pre heresy themed army. It will take some time to get it all painted. Either by myself or i have to find someone to make it for me as my paintig skills are really not the best to say the least.

@Makina: The shoulderpads are made of dreadnought leg armour and stripes of 0,5mm glued on.

@eltanko: The bodies are from the "Masters of the Chapter".

@LordKhaine: I'm not sure about the who is who yet.

@gonzosbignose: The characters (except Abaddon) and the tactical/devastator squads, the jetbikes and landspeeders are going to be white with black trims. Terminators, assault/veteran squads and vehicles are goig to be painted black with golden details.

@shaw3029: The heads of the terminators are from the iron warriors upgrade set from GW. I got the templar heads from different places: ebay, online bits-stores and friends.

@tagsta: Your Thunderhawk is fantastic. I changed the main gun, the twin-linked heavy bolters under the wings and the engines.

I have been working on the new Valkyrie: It will be a mix of HIND, COBRA and a PAVE LOW: Gatling (counts as Multilaser/ Las-cannon), Doorgunners with Heavy Stubbers ( looks IMO better than the heavy Bolters ), additional Gunner on the rear ramp.

Very convincing Luna Wolves (although I somehow came to think about the Emperor's Children)! Your Imperial Guard shows quite some promise, as well. Am I wrong, or is the Vanquisher's barrel bent? Those long buggers certainly come that way, at least! Always a treat to see scratchbuilt detached officers (or what they're called), too, and that Valkyrie is turning into a real gunship.

If any bare-headed troopers are planned (such as commandoes or combat engineers with sleeves rolled up), you could switch some marauder horsemen heads from friends - and maybe even Space Wolves heads - and mix them in. A monocle/bionic eye here, some military cap there, and they'll probably fit right in. That'd also give you a chance to give a hint of their origins through tattoos, war paints, ritual burn scars and the like! Just a thought. :)

What did you use for the tanks on the backs of the Hellhounds? Do you know if they larger than the tanks on the forgeworld one? I'm thinking up a nice Orky conversion....

The baneblades dozer blade is great and the sandbags on the shadowsword are really cool.

Will you be making some more Lunar Wolves soon?

If you PM a Administrator they should be able to put it in the right section.
