Hey guys I wanted to know if this was an army that was balanced enough to play in casual games and in tournaments. I would realy like some comments and critisism as well.

Vampire Lord
Hellsteed
+1 Magic level
Helm of Commandment
Flayed Hauberk
Wristbands of Black Gold
Master of the Black Arts
Dark Acolyte
Lord of the Dead

Vampire
Hunter in the Dark
Supernatural Horror
Scepter De Noirot
Talisman of Lycini
Enchanted Shield

Vampire
Hellsteed
Dark Acolyte
Book of Arkhan
Lord of the dead

Vampire
Dark Acolyte
Lord of the Dead
Hellsteed
Cadaverous Cuirass
Skabscrath

5X2 Skeletons
Musician & Standard bearer, Banner of endless nightmare

5x2 skeletons with spears
musician, standard bearer and banner of the dead legion

5x2 skeletons with spears
musician and standard bearer

Corpse Cart

5 Dire Wolves

Varghulf

5 Cairn Wraiths

That adds up to about 1910. What should I add to fill up the points? And should I take anything out? Also, should I replace the skeletons for Ghouls and lord of the dead with summon ghouls? I don't know which would be better.

Skeletons should start at 14 with a champ.

I run ghouls personally but both are fine. Also whats witht the hellsteeds for the lord + vamp? They cant join units if they have flying steeds.

I put them on steeds to have the freedom of movement. That way everybody is amrching all the time. Is that not a good idea?

And why should skeletons have 14 and a champ? Is one more ws 2 attack going to really matter?

Get rid of the hellsteeds, your vamps will die way to fast to magic and shooting.

10 skeletons is a very low starting size, take about 15, and the champ is there to accept challenges you don't want your vamps taking.
Expensive banners on skellies usually isn't a good idea, take a warbanner if you want to.
Please don't take spears on skellies, you loose the armour save for 5 more attacks at ws2... not a good trade.
No upgrade on the corpse cart? For 25 points its a steal.
What use does the unit of 5 wolves have?
Why not take a banshee?

Are you sure? As long as I block line of sight I should be solid...

I see where youre coming from but do I realy want to put these magic-oriented vamps in a unit where they will be exposed to combat?

The warbanner is the same price as the banners I gave them. 25 points.

You may be right there. Just wanted some hitting power.

I just did the math and youre right. I never really noticed that it is cost efficiant. It seemed costly at first glance but ill definately add it in. (Im talking about Unholy Lodestone)

What use does the unit of 5 wolves have?

Its a varghulf escort

Why not take a banshee?

Because im always afraid ill be up against something thats immune to psych. Honest answer.
