Not bad. I especially like your Centaur designs. And the Robot Ninja looks pretty nifty as well (reminds me of SCUD: the Disposable Assassin).

Everything is very pretty and neat. I like it all, except the marines. The marines just look odd, methinks.

27-12-2005, 07:53
The marines look kinda small and skinny.

But apart from that, wow, really, wow, can I marry you? Or at least ask you to do some work for a wargame project I'm working on?

27-12-2005, 16:56
What project is this? I would be glad to help.

28-12-2005, 15:58
I love your Necrarch Vampire sketch. The clothing/robes look great!

Here is a kommisar (http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/Izram/Pictures/Kommisar.jpg) I tried doing, only to realize halfway through that I don't even know what a kommisar looks like (or how to spell it for that matter).

SonofAbbadon, what is this wargaming project your working on?

03-01-2006, 19:48
Oh, sorry, I'd forgot I asked you. Go to the Rules development forum and look for "New wargame idea", then go to the forum link I posted there.

Izram, it's spelled "Commissar". And I must ask you: for how long have you been researching the human anatomy? Since I can obviously see that all proportions are correct, all the muscles are in the right place, and everything is plain perfect. Even the so-called "WIP" pictures. I wish I could draw like you do. *sigh*

EDIT: And your Nightmares look VERY surrealistic. Kudos.

Won't let me activate my account there. I can just post stuff here if you want it. I didn't have much time today to do much, but I was intruiged by what I saw in your Initial post, especially the 4 armed samurai. I played around with that idea a bit.

Samurai blocking the exit (http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/Izram/Pictures/Samurai1.jpg)
Some scattered ideas (http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/Izram/Pictures/Samurai2.jpg) (I thought maybe they could use echolocation, I picture them sounding like the aliens in the movie PitchBlack)

If you want anything inparticular you let me know.

And on an unrelated note, here is a commission I did for a website conversion competition (http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/Izram/Pictures/Conversion.jpg). Figured I would post it to see if anyone could help me on the computer side of this; making that drawing just black and white. I tried my best but Im pretty inexperienced with Photoshop.

05-01-2006, 10:15
any requests?

well, not so much requests for artwork but i know a project that's in desperate need for some one of your skills:eek: ?.interested? ;) ...............

05-01-2006, 16:43
I am always interested in stuff like that, just let me know.

05-01-2006, 17:34
I remember sending you a request to join the Anargo Sector Project some time ago. Now I dont want to force you to join or anything, but if you are interested in requests that might be a handy place.

Various requests (http://anargo-sector.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=366)

We are also working on the look for the Eldar, anatomy etc...perhaps you are interested, if so check here (http://anargo-sector.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=516)

Not only are we working on the Eldar anatomy, we are also redefining the Dark Eldar, check out for armour ideas etc here (http://anargo-sector.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=348) We also have this thread (http://anargo-sector.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=452) about redefining the Dark Eldar.

We could always use more Imperial Civilians art, but also Chaos Cults would be interesting. Come up with some ideas :D What about some Alpha Legion stuff?

05-01-2006, 22:16
Ah yes, I remember, I did not have a way of scanning pictures then. But I tried some stuff, and got frustrated the same way i am getting frustrated today. Apparantly I can't draw Eldar in the slightest; in fact i can't draw anything from GW! I can;t seem to draw Spacemarines, or eldar, or even decent orcs! It is frustrating to say the least, cobined with the fact that I have no decent paper or pencils, as is obvious by the incredible warping of the paper, even visible in the scans.
I think my biggest limiting factor is my inability to draw a decent set of power armor. Why must it be so difficult?!

I will continue trying, but I'm afraid I may not be able to help. I tried working out some comparison skull pictures for the Eldar anatomy thing though, with limited success. I came up with some other radical designs, but skimming through the boards it looks like you guys are pretty fixed int he way you think about the eldar and need no radical changes. Seems you want them pretty much like humans with long ears and squinty eyes, which is the way I like them anyways. I must say though, the dark eldar look a whole lot like dark elves. I am not a big fan of the reinvention there.

05-01-2006, 22:25
Hmm you cant draw power armour? Who made your concept art for your Death Guard?

However I have seen that you are skilled with humanoids and daemonlike creatures. We are working on a databank for flora and fauna (http://anargo-sector.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=480) these would be all sorts of weird creatures in which you would currently have pretty much total artistic freedom since there arent any existing pictures of these creatures yet.

Another thing Ive noticed is that you can draw Gretchin! :D We need those too! I mean the Ork aspect of the project has been covered a bit, but artwork is still very limited and we dont have any Gretchin stuff yet!:(

I also see that you can make very good mutants and normal humans...we need way more of those than of Space Marines and Eldar. Is it possible that we use your artwork for our site? You would of course be fully creditted.

Check out our site: http://wiki.anargo-sector.net/

05-01-2006, 22:57
Point proven; thats my attempt at terminator armor:cries:

And sure, you can use anything you want.

and I will try and come up with some mutants, but don't hold your breath for normal humans, because I am not so confident in them. maybe I can give power armor another shot for an alpha legionare with some cultists and mutants (ill-tempered of course). I will do m best to stay away from sketches and try and actually do a full drawing for once:D.

05-01-2006, 23:02
Your "attempt" at Terminator Armour? Dude! That armour is amazing! I mean...its perfect!!! Seriously...I think you are being a bit too harsh on yourself, you are a very skilled artist...but of course like any other artist you need to keep practising and trying to better your work. But dont worry, your stuff is very crazy and kick ass!

However, you might be interested in Daemons...we have a conflict between two daemon princes in the Sector. A Prince of Slaanesh and of Tzeentzch. Check this (http://wiki.anargo-sector.net/index.php?title=Daemon_Wars) out! We could probably use daemons for that!

And yeah...sketches...full drawings, eventhough I believe its prefered to have full drawings, sketches are also more than welcome! Variation rocks!

06-01-2006, 05:38
He is a Slaanesh daemoness (http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y285/Izram/Pictures/Daemoness.jpg)if you like. I don't really like tzeentch stuff, but Maybe I will do some gretchin later. Or tommorow, as it is late right now.

06-01-2006, 10:37

just drop by and check it out ;)
