Now I know someone else has probably gotten this inspiration, but I still think it would be fun to paint up a necromunda gang to look like The Warriors from the movie with the same name. The problem is I don't know what the gangs look like so I want some that have vests and clothes that look similar enough that it will reasonably match. If anyone who has seen it and plays the game has any ideas, I would appreciate their help.

Also, if I like necromunda enough, I may even try to make Baseball Furies as well, but that seems less likely. For now, I'd be satisfied with The Warriors.

Well you can try here (http://warriorsmovie.co.uk/cast/) for the cast.

House Orlock seems like the best base gang, good luck and keep us updated.

Don't forget to clink the glasses together whenever you start a battle. ;)

An excellent idea for a gang - the movie was one of my favourites when it came out.

Maybe some of the Orlock gangers / juves could be used as basis for a conversion - they alredy have the vests, T-shirts, jeans etc. However you may have to change the boots into sneakers and, of course, sculpt the big hair...

Warriors - come out to play!! (clink-clink-clink)

Wow, I never considered sculpting them into the actual guys, although now you have me thinking. The idea was that somehow the gang continued from their days on Coney Island all the way to the 41st Millenium where they have a chapter on Hive Primus (silly, I know, but then so perhaps is a ganger with stats better than a Space Marine  ).

Maybe they will even be a heretic cult that worships "the one and only". Oh well, I will figure it out in the end. It's going to be a while, I have many other projects on the burner and Winter Term is about to begin.

BTW Brimstone, that is one cool site.

They wore their trade mark red sleevless jackets!

But wernt as cool as the baseball furies or the High Hats!

even the orphans were cooler than them (in a rubbish way!)

Kudos to you, sir.

Thank you for that link.

Now, to show what a nerd I am, has anybody else read the book that the movie was based on?

A book? Really? That's cool. I had no idea it existed. I remember watching the movie when it first came out, and years later got it on video and have seen it many time since. Great film. Is the book also titled 'warriors'?

Yes, it is called "The Warriors".

It is written by Sol Yurick.

Mine is old and battered, but here is a link to a new copy.
