Ok, I plan on making a high tech/mechanicus themed marine list. Yes, it will be standard marines and scouts.. I probably wont do much special for them. But everything else.....

It will have a large amount of dreadnoughts! Anything else? Well, we'll see. As I havent decided yet. But the knowing planetstrike is coming.. its making me want to get alot more! And not just dreads even..

But I know I like the idea of stubborn troops. Either cause they are robotic.. Lobotomised.. or just plain brave! So I am including pedro....

and here is my master of the forge, with storm bolter, and thunder hammer!

And, if I ever decide to use em, some alternative captains, make from old mk8 marines

And to make sure they got shown together, here are pics of a WIP Velnerable Dreadnought

and with flash..

I am just unsure if I like the black.. I may decide to make it grey. And the red lines.. I just wanted to try something.. I'm unsure of them as well.

Here is a small update. I have finished my venerable dreadnought. And so named him X-51. I think I have listened to too much powerman 5000.

Ok, and here is what I'll paint next:

It will be an omage.. to the primarch.. and the original founding chapter in which these hail.. And btw, these will be my only dreadnoughts from forgeworld. Until I decide if I want more than 6.

Man how is that dread holding the hormagaunt? I"m sorry I'd be scared to have that on my model lol....is it magnet or glue?

I have a peice of musical wire going into both the dread fist and the hormagaunt. So it looks as if its jumping at the dread, and its going to catch it in its fist! Its just at such a good angle, and not beeing too long, it hides it well. But its long enough, that at the right angle, you will see it.

hmmmm alright I will have to try that out (been meaning to do something with the same idea.

Awesome conversions on your first two pics, I look forward to seeing them painted. However I think your three optional back-up captains are for too static for such a centre piece to your force.

ok, here is another update, with pics of another finished dreadnought!

Here is X-04!

I bet someone can guess which legion they originated from..:chrome:

I'm also expecting to work on some scouts in the next couple of weeks. I just am unsure how I will want to do them. As i want them to be part of the army, yet i want to mark each squad differently. Does anyone have any ideas? Would it be wrong of me to have the armor, part or all of it a different color, and maybe have the cloth, grey like the rest?

any one have opinions/ideas?
