So where do you get a lightening claw for the right hand to go with the left hand one in on the SM commander sprue?

You make one. Terminators seem to be the order of the day, since the plastics are far easier to convert. The other option is to get a second left claw, cut off the top plate, and carefully refit it to the right hand (think a transplant)

The new Ultramarines Veteran Squad comes with a guy that has a set of lightning claws. They are available as bits. I think it is 2 or 3 bucks for the set.

Yup, $4.00, here (http://store.us.games-workshop.com/storefront/store.us?do=Individual&code=99110101300&orignav=300866&ParentID=254027&GameNav=10&ItemNav=303223), bottom right.

Or, if your crazy, make your own!

All you need is a powerfist, four (4) Dark Eldar Guns (for the blades) and skill (and luck) to afix them inside (yes I hollowed it out) the powerfist. You might as well make a matching one for the other arm. I did.

And no, no painted pics yet. He's still lying ripped apart on my workstation. Can't be bothered to finish him actually. Bad me.

Have you purchased any of the new assault terminator boxes? If so, do you have a spare set of lightning claws? Seems that would be the simplest way to go.

I haven't purchased any assault terminators. I might, but its pretty doubtful as its a $50 kit for a somewhat dubious unit.

I like the idea of making them from a couple of powerfists, but all the powerfists I currently have are left handed (from the cmd sqd sprue and the commander sprue). I do have a variety of daggers from various places that could be used to make the claws. Humm...

Ask around other Gamers for the righthanded one from the Assault Marine set (the new set). That's how I got mine. It's probably the easiest way to get one without buying a box.
