New Army Supplement incoming

This is just a heads up to let you all know that a new downloadable army supplement is due for release on or around the 15th of June.

Armies in the supplement:

Tournament approved armies

Dogs of War
Ogre Kingdoms
Albion
Goblin Army
Witchhunters
High Elf Tournament Army
Daemon Tournament Army

The last 2 are more balanced versions of these lists for tournament play.

Experimental Armies:

Wood Elves (most of the current wood elf units are in. No eagles warhawks only, No Treekin, Treeman is Hero only not unit)
Beastmen (pure Beasts only so no Ogres or Trolls inculdes Shaggoth instead of Giant)
Chaos Dwarfs (everything you'd expect is in)
Slayer King's Army (Dwarf slayer army with Goblin Hewer very limited artillery)
Norse Army (Saxon/Vikings with Werekin, Mammoth and Valkyries)
Brettonian Army (this includes Pegasus Knights and the Grail Reliquae)
Cathay (think Qin chinese with Celestial Dragon)
Nippon (Samurai/Warrior Monks with Imps, Oni, Tengu and Temple Dogs)

Fan Lists:

Nomadic Orcs (all mounted Orcs and Goblins)
Grimgor's Ardboyz (Black Orc heavy Orc army no goblins)
Dwarf Younger Holds (limited artillery, includes miners and cheap militia)
Dwarf Engineering Guild (artillery heavy army including airship)
Araby Tribal Army (Nomad style army with Ruhk and antimagic only)
Araby City State Army (inc Tar Lobbers)

I have an older draft so some things might change before release. I know the layout has been changed since I saw it.

Not yet there seems to be small delay the release date wasn't set in stone hopefully soon. I know Mick only finished painitng the Chaos Dwarfs on Monday and he may still have some Beastmen to finish up and I only fiinshed sculpting the Brettonian General on Hippogriff on Tuesday night which wasn't originally planned.

Yeah mostly apparrently there's been a few changes since the Euro GTdraft.

Can someone explain me how this works? Is this an official release?
I´m just starting with Warmaster. Where you can find the new miniatures (if there any)?

No this is not an official release as such as Gamesworkshop is not supporting Warmaster at this time. The games original developers have been involved in producing some of the armylists. The first 8 lists are approved for tournament play as they are considered to be balanced lists, the rest are experimental or fan armies the experimental armies are still approved for tournaments but maybe a little unbalanced and need some more refining.

There are no new miniatures. Eureka miniatures has produced Chaos Dwarf, Beastmen and Wood elf miniatures that covers most of the army entries. Norse can be done with Kallistra miniatures Saxons/Vikings and some other bits. The rest are mainly just existing available units. There is a miniatures section in the supplement showing how convert up the armies. I've done some of the conversions for this section including converting an Ogre Kingdom army from existing miniatures. I'm also considering sculpting and producing the Ogre Kingdom army in 10mm scale.

Any word on the supplement release yet?

I have been involved in this project from the start and have kept dropping a couple of hints.
I was under the same understanding as DAX that it would be out mid-June.
I have just emailed the project lead to see what the hold-up is!

Will report back when I get any info.
Off to play bloodbowl :)
