Im painting up a Baneblade for a painting competition and wanted to use some WW2 German Tiger (or King Tiger) Tank decals with it.

The question I have is what scale should I use for the decals to match the baneblade properly - most notably the squadron numbers on the side of the turret (501, 502, etc).

If I could check out some decal sheets in person at a local shop this would be an simple issue to resolve. But as this isnt an option for me, Ill most likely have to order the decals online...

Any help would be appreciated.

I think you would be safe with anything on a 1/50/68th scale, The Baneblade is about the size of your average tank kit so it woulent be hard to match some decals out of a cheapy panzer kit.

The Baneblade is about as large as a 1:35 Tiger, so I guess 1:35 decals will fit. But that's just a guess.

A Baneblade is slightly (~15%) larger than the Machaius super heavies I've built from Tamiya 1:35 Tiger mark ones. Don't have any comparison photos to hand.

I've used some of the 1:35 scale marking on it, and they're fine.

ok I was a bit off, I actually went and looked at one of my old boxes, I would now say 1/35th aswell, and you might check and see if armorcast has any ww2 transfer sheets.
