2 dragons and a vampire lord at 1600 points......

If you are actually going to take two dragons the glade guard, dryads and ghouls are not going to do anything except for being mandatory core.

I would consider dropping any of these that you dont have to take and invest the points in something that can either do damage or provide something else that is useful such as a scroll caddy.

If you play with table quarters you might consider keeping two core (one for each of your own quarters)

You´ll get beaten badly with lists like that. your 300+ point dragons will be extict in first round with couple good old cannons. and cause cannons are also DOW units all armies has them Or some other dragon killing machines. So far I haven´t been in a single tournament that would have been won with dragon in the army it just takes WAY too much points.

If the so called "special" characters are allowed I strongly recommend you to take Konrad Von Carstein and 2 necromancers (or one second level vampire). 2 units of ghouls 14 ghouls should be enough cover, 13 Grave Guard to escort Konrad and 2 x 3 Fell bats or if you´d prefer Varghulf

800 pts double vampires

Heroes:

Konrad Von Carstein
145 pts

Necromancer
55 pts

Necromancer
55 pts

Core:

14 Crypt Ghouls
Ghast
120 pts

14 Crypt Ghouls
Ghast
120 pts

13 Grave Guard
Full command
186 pts

3 Fell Bats
60 pts

3 Fell Bats
60 pts

Total 801 points. Ovbiously you need to drop of one ghouls or make one unit of 5 bats and few more ghouls but there is a suggestion that ain´t so weak against cannons and bolt throwers

One dragon is probably useless since many armies will be able to kill it at 1600 points. A few cannons or boltthrowers will do it unless you are really lucky with terrain. With two dragons you have a better chance of getting at least one into close combat. Give dragons ward saves if you can, at least WE have an item that also gives ward to the mount (3+ if I remember correctly breaks if it fails). I dont know what the options are for VC.

However I still not convinced that this is the way to go.
