I was just wondering what you guys/gals thought was best and cheapest way to get 60mm round bases? I know Games Workshop sells them in bags of 3 for 4.50 US, but I need like 20 of them. Does any other company make them cheaper?

try making your own out of plasticard? take one of the ones that you already possess and use it to make forms, then enjoy!

I did this for all the freestanding dreads that I got because of all the moaning that I had to put up with.

Have you tried getting your hands on some mini-cd's?

you could also try buying a 60mm hole saw and some plastic and cutting out your own?

Laser cut wood bases and magnetic backing. Once you paint them they look the same and they are so much cheaper especially when you buy a large ammount. They also have lots of other cool stuff.

Find someone who plays gaurd and doesnt put the heavy weapons teams on them. Likely, they will have the spares you need.

I make my own with a special hole cutting drill bit (1" to 6")and some thin wood sheets.

I got 65 40mm bases for a whopping $10.

But the real question is where can I get extra flying bases cheap?

Find someone who plays aeronautica imperialis. Forgeworld bundles their aircraft with the clear flying stands, and the game stands with the sliders, and you really only need the game stands. They are the small flying bases though, not the large ones.
