do you atturally need MEs?

normal Es would do almost as good a job I think saveing you a lot of points and allowing you maybe to get a small unit of hammers maybe to protect one of your flanks

In your 2000 points rather than deploying in the middle why not shift to one side and have a large block of say longbeards rather than hammers on the table edge (its another core and diffrent and saves you from panic) with the hammerers on the out side edge?

I have 2 MEs because it makes my warmachines damn hard to kill with entrench and GWs plus they boost BS to 5.
