Best wolf lord i've seen in ages, well done. Oh, and have you won any golden demons by any chance?

*edit* Quick question. Was the Logan grimnar arm easy to fit?

08-01-2006, 01:19
Very nice, very nice. Good use of the Logan bits there, looks very good. Thumbs up

08-01-2006, 01:26
a few more pics...

08-01-2006, 02:05
That's just plain spectacular!

Any chance of a WIP shot?

08-01-2006, 02:47
Absolutly supurb work (yet again)

What was the process for the armour (blue/grey parts) is it wet blending? it seems so smooth.. im jealous of your skills, give them to me :) hehe

Very well done.

08-01-2006, 03:20
Wow, that is impressively well done. The colours are so clean and the blending is incredible, especially on the head.

Very nicely done. *claps*

bloody brilliant! saw some WIP of it, but lost them, was the cape GS'd on?

08-01-2006, 04:10
Maybe it's the angle, but his head looks far too big for the body. I know it's the same body (i think you've used lysanders body with grimnars arms yes?), but... weird, i think my eyes are going funny :)

The thing which astounds me is that when you take really close up shot of mdoels, you see all the little "mistakes" that you really wouldn't see in real life. And yet, there don't seem to be that many at all on this model. It really must look awesome in person. Also, could you tell me the recipe for the armour, or is it just Shadow Grey with white mixed in?

08-01-2006, 04:11
Looks like Billy Connolly... nice though...

08-01-2006, 04:43
Sweet... good job on the highlighted metalics.

08-01-2006, 08:27
the armour was shadow with fortress mixed in then a little white. shaded with scorched brown then black. thanks for all the comments!

08-01-2006, 09:19
Veeeeeeeeeeeery nice! I really like your yellow on the model, it looks so good.

As I said, it's a VERY nice model.

Thats awesome. Is the shoulder pad freehand?

08-01-2006, 14:20
Wow! Very nice!!

The litanies on the purity seals and parchments blow my mind.
How did you paint them?Nanomachines? ;)

self biased

my god, it's full of stars.

could we see a pre-painted pic?

08-01-2006, 19:29
I love it when a conversion looks so original. Great job. How did you do the chapter icon, just freehand?

I agree, need to see some before pics to see the green stuff skill

08-01-2006, 19:38
 very nice, i wish i could paint minis like this:cries:

08-01-2006, 19:45
Excellent, fantastic shoulder pad detail, and wonderful colour and blending overall.

Pre-painted pics would be nice, and is this mini going up for sale?

08-01-2006, 21:09
Incredible! Great Work!

08-01-2006, 21:18
the trim on the pad was free hand, the icon was a transfer highlighted and then varnished, i was going to free hand the sun wolf icon but in the end i got a bit fed up with it and cheated!;) . sorry but i have no pre paint pics of this.(i only recently got my camera). is it for sale? not any more, it went yesturday!:D . once again thanks for all the feedback!

Wow. Nice job, razza. The only nitpick I might have is that the head is a bit too big for the body, but other than that good work.

08-01-2006, 21:30
the head is the one that comes with the model, i think my crap pics make it look a lot bigger, sorry.

08-01-2006, 22:26
Soooo cool .. .and it still looks liek Dennis Hopper in Termi armour :)
