Are there any boxes out there that come with an abundance of approx man-sized cape bitz? Thanks.

Wood Elf Glade Guard are probably what you're looking for.

There are 4 or 5 different sculpts, and you probably get about 20 total in a box of 16 GG.

I was going for something that looks more like its from Mordor, I was gonna convert uruk-hai into mordor uruk-hai, and was thinking that the most capes would be in a warhammer fantasy box.

Have you thought about making your own? I've seen people having great successes using t-shirt fabrick coated in pva or somesuch. Infact there was a chappy on this very forum that made some fantastic ragged looking capes on his space marines..... Surely someone's got a link for it!

not big on making my own stuff, it never ends up looking very good

Dude, this was simple as! It was just the fabric cut, then glued solid then painted. I'll have a shufty tomorrow for the link.

Also, I believe there was talk of Warlord making capes at one stage...

The old plastic chaos warriors has some. The "Hairy head/Middenheimer" sprue have two wolf cloaks. The Skaven nightrunners have some, two per sprue, so that should be eight per box. Those could probably look good on LotR minis.

empire knights have some cool cloaks, the animal fur ones look really cool

You get about four per box in the High Elf archer box too.
