View Full Version : Gamesworkshop Vacformed gaming board?

Pulled this from storage recently. Its plastic board measuring just a little over 3' by 3', with an Imperial Eagle imprinted in the center. I received it as a gift from a game store owner years back. I'm scratching my head because I honestly can't remember gamesworkshop releasing such a piece, though I'm pretty certain it is them who made this - its very much like the vacformed plastic scenery pieces they have done (that and the IP stamped in the center). I've yet to be able to even find another like it anywhere online. Can anyone help me with the origin of this thing?

GW produced a number of boards for demo tables which were given to certain stores as incentives/promotional material. Looks like one of those.

That is indeed what it is.

We've got one of those at our club. I like what you've done with that one, though - might have to repaint ours, as it's rather boring.

I wonder how much these cost vs the RoB Games tables...

Yeah I was bored and have begun the long process of detailing the board. The picture there was as the water effects were drying.

Yeah, I have a couple. They were given to indy shops for demo purposes.
