I just recently started a WoC army, and have had several people chuckle to me about march blocking. So what exactly is this march blocking of wich they speak? and how can I get around it?

Positioning units so your opponent can't March because of their proximity.

Basically you can either eliminate the Blocking unit, or in some cases move them out of position or take advantage of special rules (Frenzy, etc) to bait them away.

More specifically, any enemy model within 8" prevents a unit from making a march move.

Most armies have units set up for this task, and most of them are squishy, if a bit hard to pin down without shooting.

Eh, you don't need to march, it'll be faster for you to raise your way to the opponent. :3

Best way around it for WoC is to have lots of Warhounds.

Put your hounds near any decent scouting terrain near your deployment zone, keep a few units back if he has flyers or other units that are likely to be used in march blocking.

But the best way for WoC to avoid being march blocked is to go all cavalry, by the time he has units in position to march block you don't care because you're in charge range.
