you drew them on a computer?

theyre prety cool, get some colour in there and i will be more willing to give a verdict :D

the pose on the swooping hawk is 95% fine, but i have a problem with his right leg as it doesnt have the same motion as the rest of the body, i think it should come further back and arced.

the perspectiv e on the dread is fairly cool as well, and i really would like to see it coloured in.

nice pics Fear frost they remind me of stugs  which can't be a bad thing can it:D
*must be the loose style*;)

.personally i disagree with lukes comment on the leg ,i think it's in the right place IMHO

love the dread ,for something that looks easy to draw it's surprisingly hard to get it right which i think you've managed (i know ,i tried a while back thinking that'd be easy to do...........it's now filed away under 'trash can'')

OI! You can draw Eldar  Kage will be very happy with this, you should check out the Anargo Sector Project (http://anargo-sector.net/phpBB2/index.php) in which we try to create an entire Imperial Sector in full detail. We are still looking for skilled artists who can draw Eldar.

We also got a wiki page (http://wiki.anargo-sector.net/) running now:evilgrin:

Nice!

Did you use alias sketch book to draw them?

Yeah, these were "test" of my WACOM tablet that I got a few months back. Used Corel Painter 9, just the old "pencil" and "eraser" tools ;)

I have a tendency to work really loose, but bear in mind those arent finished works by any means.

Thanks for the comments, guys.

I like the Swooping Hawk, has a really nice pose. I can really imagine it in full colour!

Cool job. Wacom tablets rock the house. I drew my avatar in Photoshop using one (you can tell I'm untrained).

I checked out your sketches. I like the way coloring the Dreadnought was going.

although it looks nice, there are 2 things i feel i should point out

1: his arms are pretty weedy/thin, i know eldar aren't really muscle-bound, but the should have a tad more bulk in them, seeing as they do train for combat

2: his pointing hand/arm is a bit off in the perspective, and i know that that angle is a very difficult thing to pull off, but i though i should point it out

perhaps give it a bit more of a bend, to give a greater definition of where the elbow is

but, just my thoughts. hope you get my meaning, looking forward to more progress :)

That right arm was indeed giving me fits. Now that I look at it, months later, I think the angle of the shoulder and pad could fix it...perhaps a slight perspective change.

Its funny that you said that about the arm size, on CA.org I got a zillion comments about how my original concept was way too bulky looking. I settled somewhere in between, not super skinny, but not hulking ;)

heh, i guess it's the pose that got me on the size, but in relation to the torso/legs, they are postitively weedy

it's just not right to me seeing a being who trains/fights for their profession to not have some bulk, but i can see the logic behind your reasoning (though, it seems odd that CA.org does not see that the swooping hawks (http://us.games-workshop.com/games/40k/eldar/catalog/swooping_hawks.htm) do indeed have bulk, for eldar at least....)

really, the only thing that's bugging me is the arms, something just seems to not sit right..
