View Full Version : The White Sword when mounted...HELP!

Sorry, posted this is the other forum but it was the wrong place. Here goes:

Thinking about using a High Elf Noble with the White Sword mounted on a barded Elven steed. Even though he is mounted, my understanding is that the White Sword requires two hands but is not defined as a great weapon and therefore still grants the +2 Strength bonus. Usually, a mounted great weapon only gives a +1 Strength bonus, but seeing as the White Sword doesn't appear to be a great weapon, am I correct in my assumption?

Re-read the rules for the White Sword.
Then edit your post accordingly, preferrably with a 2 handed item you can actually use while mounted.

The White Sword is not considered a 'great weapon', it simply bestows its bonuses to the bearer and is a two-handed sword.

However, the White Sword can only be used by models on foot. That should provide all the insight you need.
