its really lacking in close combat for a 3k list or atleast some decent shooting from rare choices are needed. that's really all i can think of, my 2 cents and all. I think it'll wreck shop with anyone not ready for that much magic.

I don't think any army can handle that kinda magic. I mean my Ard boys lizard man uses 19 power dice a turn plus my slann gen alot more. I am still tweaking and fine tuning my list but it can wreck alot of armies with out close combat.

I would suggest at 3000 points taking Lord Kroak insted of one of the Slann and a unit of terradons. His 20+ spell is devastating against a ton of enemies. I personally love when wood elves pop out tons of wild riders and Dryads and I kill them all in 3 turns with his spell. Also his spell is amazing against all Daemon armies because 2D6 S5 means against all but Nugle you need 2's to wound. Against Vampires and Tomb Kings, you will kill things much faster than he can raise them back. Also, If something big charges your unit like a bloodthirster, you can cast the smallest effect one 3 times, causing 6D6 S5 wounds total on the enemy. Lord Kroak works wonders, trust me.
