As im new to WHFB, i thought my first army would get a Plog, to keep me motivated to finish it, and secondly to get some feedback on the models. Whilst the list may not be 100% competetive, it is there to form a solid base to develop from, and also to give me a few conversion oportunities.

The Fluff

The background for my Bretonnians is that of a Holy Order devoted to the Lady created during the war with Araby and has lands and is based in a small fortified town on the northern coast of Araby.

Whilst im painting the first unit of Knights and the BSB, i am also kitbashing Empire Pistoliers and Peasants to become my first unit of Mounted Yeomen.

My test model used these parts: (Bret: Head, top of peasant body, Shield, Halberd. Empire: Pistolier legs, Horse)

and Blu-tac'd together:

I have shaved a little more off the bottom of the torso since i took the photo's as he looked far to tall. This along with a few more bits (bow, pouches etc) should finish him off. Il post the completed model once i have glued him together.

Apologies for the quality of the images, im relying on a phone camera at the moment :(

Consider the idea stolen. Ive been wondering about doing an all pesant army and your Mounted Yeomen look the best ive seen.

Nice nice, like those archers and skirmishers. Solid and realistic pallete is to my liking. Cant really tell about the Hippogryph due to the angle and distance, but I would like a closer look, and maybe a peek at those peasants?

Dunno about those Damsels, the skin looks a bit monotone, maybe a highlight and black wash. Not on the mounted one's horse though, I really like the horses. That would be my only suggestion. Again, want to see a peasant groupie and those Knightly types finished!:p
