Does anyone know of any clubs in and around Hertfordshire? My club looks like it's closing so I'm just seeing if there are any others nearby. If not i'll probably have to quit the hobby (again), which would be a shame.

I thought there was a good one in Watford but the site is gone so I don't know if it's still around.

Thanks for the links guys.

What do you play?

I currently play; 40k, Blood Bowl, Warhammer Quest.

Can or would like to play; Necromunda, Mordheim, Space Hulk, Space Crusade.

But really i'd be up for getting into most things GW, and trying pretty much anything else on offer.

Yeah thanks for the pm Baragash. I did a quick check on route planner and it looks like it will take me about 40 mins to get there, which isn't too bad I suppose. Let me know the link to the site when you find it and i'll have a nose around :)
Whats the club like in terms of age, atmosphere, attendance, player types etc?

Thanks for the link idontcare but regretably It's a bit too far for me.

I'm based in Stevenage btw.

I'd probably be willing to go as far West as Luton or Bedford, as far South as Watford, as far North as Royston or as far East as Harlow/

If you're still looking the Watford club is still up and running every wednesday 17:30-22:00

Watford social club Queens Road, 4 for members 5 for non-members, lots of parking and food shops

The club plays 40k and fantasy along with bloodbowl and some flames and hordes

It's a good club with lots of tables and plenty of scenery, avergae age is probably 30ish with a good skill mix of players

Hope to see you there

Chris

Hey, i've no idea about the St Albans club but if theres quite a few of you already you should consider starting a club.

What age range are you guys and what games do you normally play if you don't mind me asking?

As far as i'm aware, the St. Albans club runs out of the st. albans store (in Heritage Close). Mind you, i wouldn't swear to that - haven't been there in some time. Pop into the store on a weekend afternoon, and someone should be there to tell you more (you'll also get a game, if that's what you're looking for).

Someone here mentioned that there were 3 gamers from the Hatfield area? Did you sort out a club that plays 40K closer to home? St Albans?
