I'm currently looking for vents/turbines for a conversion I have in mind, I'm wondering if anybody knows where I could find some about 75mm in diameter. Something similar would be the turbines on the Landspeeders, although too big for my current application, that's the sort of thing I'm after. If I must, I'll make one from scratch, but for obvious reasons, I'd rather not

Thanks in advance.

Scratchbuild louvres by slicing plasticard?

Pilfer jet intakes from a model 757?

There was a company making resin fans, built from the Warmchine-style bases - 30, 40 and 50mm diameter. Can't remember who it was, though. Perhaps Armorcast?

This site has some different sizes of resin turbines/fans. http://www.evilmushroomgames.com/new_page_29.htm
Might be worth a look :).

There's small turbines that go on the bottom of the Drop Pod. 75mm is huge though, are you sure you didn't mean 7.5mm (considering you said the Speeder ones were too big)?

7.5, missed the period.. Thanks Corrode.

Scratchbuild louvres by slicing plasticard? Yeah, that's what I was thinking of doing if it came down to it, although I might try butchering the landspeeder's turbine casing and trimming it down as well.
The ones from evilmushroom look sweet and I'll keep them in mind for future projects, too big for this one though. Thanks for the suggestions guys and gals, I'll get cutting.

What about the wing jets on the Valkyrie? They're seperate pieces and are a bit smaller than the landspeeder turbines.

Other than that, try 1:144+ scale aircraft kits maybe?

Hmm, the ones on the Valkyrie might be pretty close, I'll see if I can get near one and do some measuring. Tar Ehlijen, I will also have a look at 1:144+ aircraft kits.
