View Full Version : IDENTIFY THE BITZ - New Game?

As I was wandering around Games day, I felt the need to buy something but it just didn't seem right to buy a GW kit, because I can get em in my local store, so I figured I should buy something I wouldn't ordinarily do... Over to the forgeworld stand then.

So, bought myself the Space Marine model, so I could at least do a half decent paint job on one space marine in my lifetime. There were three bits in the pack I couldn't identify and even after going to the site and looking at the online instructions (Bit of paper in my 93 model wouldn't have hurt guys) they weren't there, so I think FW have erroneously included some bits from some other random kit, which brings me to a new forum game.

Name the bitz, someone posts a picture of a random piece of a kit, and people guess the part and original kit. Probably worth taking slightly more obfuscating pictures than these, to make it challenging.

If nobody wants to play the game, thats fine, as long as you tell me what those bits are! If you do, then the person who identifies these pieces can post up the next picture!

The two extra bits are off the Tau XV84 suits.

I'm pretty sure the first pics are part of the droppod.

Torso belongs to that great big resin Display Marine from a ways back. He was pretty huge...1/35 or something?

This should probably be in the chain quiz forum inside Random Musings

Presumably the torso belongs to the model the OP bought. I assumed it was for scale.

I can't see a third piece.

Provided this is just to help the OP idetify certain components, then I am happy to leave it where it is.

Should it become a quiz type affair, then I'll look at moving it.
