There used to be an army list kicking about for Kroot, does anybody know where I can find it? (I have searched on here but can't find anything...) And, is it still usable in the current edition of 40K.
I'm looking for a modelling project, and thought that the Kroot are about the least seen army out there so they may be ideal! Can anybody point me in the right direction?

The original Kroot Mercenary list appeared in WD. An online copy appears to have been updated for 5th edition but I am not sure how official it is.

Ahh the Kroot list. Had a friend that played it back in 4th edition.
Shaper Council with all Power Weaps and Fists is an incredibly nasty CC unit.

Are there any plans for an update?

An official update? Most likely not. It was a minor army only released in WD, and it has got no real support ever since it's release. Also, it was from an era when new things were often published in WD, like extra rules, new units, whole armies. This is sadly no longer something that is done (and that is why I don't read WD anymore. Why would I pay for something when I can get better info online?), so chances of it (or the old feral ork list for that matter) being updated are close to zero.

The 5th edition list was done by members of "Kompletely Kroot" (http://z8.invisionfree.com/KompletelyKroot/index.php?act=idx), the biggest Kroot website and on eyou might want to visit ;)
It is not official but based on the original 3rd edition one. BTW here is their 4th edition "Kodex Kroot" ( http://www.freewebs.com/pfreck/Kodex%2520Kroot%2520V4.2.pdf ) predecessor of the current one.
