Me and my mate are swapping armies for a game, to see what each of us comes up with to use against our own armies so this is what i have in mind so far for a game against Highelves

Spellsinger lvl 2 glamourweave kindred 210
Unicorn
Branchwraith lvl 1 115

My thoughts would be my magic defense needs to be good, so the Glamourweave spellsinger can join the wildriders giving them magic res(2) and the wardancers also have magic res(1) The brachwraith gives me something hard that adds dispell dice[thinking of giving the spite that allows 1 extra dispell dice]

not sure on items for mage[maybe 2 dispell scrolls] and what else to add anythoughts appreciated

how about this.
I had to drop the treekin in order to split the wardancers as only 3 special slots, but i added the treeman to make up for it.
I have 3 units with magic res 1, one of which will be joined by the spellsinger making it magic res 3[unicorn]. plus 5 dispell dice and 1 scroll
is the deepwood sphere worth taking? i was hoping i could bait him into the woods and the str5 every we magic phase is going to hurt. would i be better with a powerstone instead? The treemans bound treesinging might help me get some spells off and maybe i could turn things against him?

I have 16 points left?

magic resistance does not stack, you only take the highest ie 2 in this case, which is stil ldamn good


with the branch wraith and cluster you will be getting 5 dispell di a turn, plus resistance, so you should be able to threaten stuff, esp. if you put the wardancers infront!

get you mage off the unicorn, waste of points, why is the mage on a monster mount, so can be picked out easily by everone. srop the unicorn and glamorweave, get some scouts.

yeah as magic res doesnt stack then thats what i'll do. he was going to join the wildriders and sit in/behind a wood ready to counter charge, hopefully absorb the magic whilst out of sight of any missile weaponry.

Is the treeman worth it? i think he could be really hard to deal with in this size game, but i could get alot instead of him? thanks for the pointers guys, they are all apreciated. KEEP EM COMING
